Side-Lying Leg Lift Right
Muscles worked: Legs · Also: Back & Core
Side-Lying Leg Lift Right works the right outer hip and thigh from a side-lying position, lifting the leg with a straight body line.
Stay stacked, keep the movement slow, and avoid letting your waist sag or your body roll forward. Match the left side's reps and range so both hips progress evenly.
How to do it
- Lie on your left side with your body stacked, legs straight and together.
- Lift your top (right) leg with control, keeping your body in a straight line.
- Lift only as high as you can without letting your waist sag or your body roll forward.
- Lower slowly back to the starting position.
- Stay stacked and lift from the hip, not by rolling your torso; match the left side's reps and range.
