Wall Sit
Muscles worked: Legs & Glutes · Also: Glutes & Hips, Calves
To do a wall sit, stand with your back flat against a wall and your feet forward, slide down until your thighs are near parallel to the floor with your knees bent at roughly a right angle, and hold that position while breathing normally. It builds leg endurance without any movement.
Slide down until your thighs are near parallel to the floor, keep your back pressed to the wall, and breathe normally. Hold only as long as you can keep the position — when your knees start caving inward, the set is over.
