Wall Calf Raises
Muscles worked: Calves
Wall Calf Raises are calf raises done facing a wall for balance: hands lightly on the wall, rise onto your toes and lower slowly.
The wall removes the balance challenge so you can focus on a full rise and a slow lowering. Rise as high as you can, pause briefly at the top, and lower past flat if your step allows a gentle stretch.
How to do it
- Stand facing a wall with your hands lightly on it for balance.
- Rise onto your toes as high as you can, pausing briefly at the top.
- Lower slowly back down.
- Lower past flat if your step allows a gentle stretch.
- The wall removes the balance challenge so you can focus on a full rise and a slow lowering.
