Sumo Squat Calf Raises With Wall
Muscles worked: Legs & Glutes, Calves · Also: Back & Core, Glutes & Hips
Sumo Squat Calf Raises With Wall combine a wide squat stance with calf raises, using a wall for balance. You stand in a sumo stance near a wall, rise onto your toes, and lower back down.
Hold the wall lightly for balance rather than leaning on it, keep the wide stance steady, and rise fully onto the balls of your feet before lowering slowly. The slow lowering is where the calves do the most work.
