Standing Glute Kickbacks Right
Muscles worked: Legs · Also: Glutes & Hips
Standing Glute Kickbacks Right are the right-side version: standing tall, extend the right leg back, squeeze the glute, and return with control.
Keep your hips square to the front and your torso upright throughout. If you wobble, hold a chair or wall lightly — balance support is sensible, and it lets the glute do the work instead of your stabilisers.
How to do it
- Stand tall, holding support if needed, with a soft bend in your standing knee.
- Extend your right leg straight back behind you.
- Squeeze your glute at the end of the range and return with control.
- Keep your hips square to the front and your torso upright throughout.
- If you wobble, hold a chair or wall lightly — balance support is sensible, and it lets the glute do the work instead of your stabilisers.
