Single Right Leg Calf Raises
Muscles worked: Calves
Single Right Leg Calf Raises are the right-side version: standing on the right foot alone, rise onto your toes and lower with control.
Keep the standing knee soft, not locked, and rise as high as you can without rolling the ankle. Single-leg calf work exposes imbalances, so let the weaker side set the pace.
How to do it
- Stand on your right foot alone with the standing knee soft, not locked.
- Rise onto your toes as high as you can without rolling the ankle.
- Lower with control.
- Keep the knee soft throughout and your balance steady — hold support lightly if needed.
- Single-leg calf work exposes imbalances, so let the weaker side set the pace; do the same reps on the left.
