Single Left Leg Calf Raises
Muscles worked: Calves
Single Left Leg Calf Raises work the left calf alone: standing on the left foot, you rise onto your toes and lower slowly, with the right foot held off the floor.
Balance is half the exercise — hold a wall lightly if you need to, and focus on a full rise and a slow lowering. Do the same reps on the right side so both calves develop evenly.
How to do it
- Stand on your left foot with your right foot held off the floor.
- Rise onto your toes fully, keeping the standing knee soft.
- Lower slowly with control.
- Balance is half the exercise — hold a wall lightly if you need to.
- Focus on a full rise and a slow lowering; do the same reps on the right so both calves develop evenly.
