Side Leg Circles Right
Muscles worked: Legs · Also: Back & Core
Side Leg Circles Right are slow, controlled circles with the right leg from a side-lying or standing position, training the outer hip through its range.
Draw the circles deliberately — big enough to feel the hip working, small enough to keep your body quiet. Reverse direction halfway through so the hip works both ways.
How to do it
- Start with your body stacked and your right leg free to move, side-lying or standing as the version calls for.
- Draw the circles deliberately — big enough to feel the hip working, small enough to keep your body quiet.
- Keep your torso still while the leg moves.
- Reverse direction halfway through so the hip works both ways.
- If your body starts rocking, make the circles smaller until you can control them.
