Backward Lunge With Front Kick Right
Muscles worked: Legs & Glutes · Also: Glutes & Hips, Calves, Back & Core
Backward Lunge With Front Kick Right mirrors the left version: step back with the right leg, lunge, then drive forward into a front kick with the right leg.
Balance is the challenge here, so take your time between the lunge and the kick, and keep the kick at a height you can control. Do the same reps on both sides so the legs develop evenly.
How to do it
- Stand tall, then step back with your right leg into a lunge.
- Push back to standing with control.
- Drive forward into a front kick with your right leg, at a height you can control.
- Take your time between the lunge and the kick — balance is the challenge here.
- Do the same reps on both sides so the legs develop evenly.
