Side Leg Raise Left
Muscles worked: Abs & Core, Legs, Inner Thighs & Hips · Also: Legs & Glutes
Side Leg Raise Left works the left outer hip and core from a standing or side-lying position: you raise the left leg out to the side and lower it with control.
Keep your torso tall and still, and raise the leg only as high as you can without leaning away from it. The standing version adds a balance challenge — hold support if you need it and keep the movement clean.
How to do it
- Stand tall or lie on your side, with your torso tall and still.
- Raise your left leg out to the side with control.
- Raise only as high as you can without leaning away from the lifted leg.
- Hold briefly at the top, then lower slowly.
- The standing version adds a balance challenge — hold support if you need it and keep the movement clean.
