Bent Knee Side Hip Raises Right
Muscles worked: Abs & Core · Also: Legs, Back & Core
Bent Knee Side Hip Raises Right work the right outer hip and core from a side position: with the knee bent, you raise the right leg out to the side and lower it with control.
Keep the movement clean and the torso quiet, and match the left side's reps and range. A smaller range with a still torso beats a big range with a rocking body.
How to do it
- Lie on your left side with your knees bent and your body stacked.
- Raise your top (right) leg out to the side with the knee bent, keeping your torso quiet.
- Lift only as high as your hip allows without rolling.
- Lower slowly with control.
- Match the left side's reps and range — a smaller range with a still torso beats a big range with a rocking body.
